Dr Lisca Drittenbass, M.D.

PRESIDENT

EXECUTIVE MBA IN HEALTHCARE

Dr. Lisca Drittenbass specializes in foot and ankle surgery. She was Chief Resident at the Luzerner Kantonsspital, one of Switzerland’s largest hospitals, between 2010 and 2013. She then joined Centre ASSAL as an Associate Physician, where she still works today as an Associate Doctor. Dr. Lisca Drittenbass is the current President elect and a Board Member of the Swiss Foot and Ankle Society (SFAS). She also holds an Executive MBA in healthcare management, delivered by Université HEC Lausanne.

Description

Education

Lisca Drittenbass studied medicine at the University of Zurich and was awarded her degree in 2003. During that time, she also completed one semester of study at Duke University in the USA. She went on to specialize in orthopaedic and trauma surgery at the Vaud University Hospital (CHUV) and Luzerner Kantonsspital. She obtained SMA certification (FMH) in Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery in 2009 and was subsequently awarded a Traveling Fellowship from the Swiss Foot and Ankle Society in 2014, which allowed her to visit Switzerland’s largest teaching hospitals (Zurich, Basel, Geneva and Lausanne) over the course of several weeks. In 2020, she obtained her Executive MBA at the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Lausanne.
