PD Dr. Mathieu Assal specializes in foot and ankle surgery. Internationally recognized orthopaedic and trauma surgeon, he established the Centre ASSAL for Foot Care and Surgery in Geneva in 2012. He and his team of specialists treat acute and chronic disorders of the lower limbs. PD Dr. Mathieu Assal is also well-known for his extensive clinical research contributions, as well as for designing new surgical techniques and developing new surgical approaches that are now used world-wide.

Dr. Lisca Drittenbass specializes in foot and ankle surgery. She was Chief Resident at the Luzerner Kantonsspital, one of Switzerland’s largest hospitals, between 2010 and 2013. She then joined Centre ASSAL as an Associate Physician, where she still works today as an Associate Doctor. Dr. Lisca Drittenbass is the current President elect and a Board Member of the Swiss Foot and Ankle Society (SFAS). She also holds an Executive MBA in healthcare management, delivered by Université HEC Lausanne.

Dr. Victor Dubois-Ferrière specializes in foot and ankle surgery. He has spent most of his career at the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG), mainly as an assistant doctor and head of the foot and ankle surgery team within the Orthopedic Surgery and Motor Traumatology Department. He did a year of expertise (fellowship) at the prestigious University of McGill, in Canada. Dr Dubois-Ferrière joined the Centre ASSAL for Foot Care and Surgery as an Associate Doctor on January 1, 2021.
