Convaincu que la recherche scientifique soutient la pratique d’une médecine responsable, le Centre ASSAL a créé la Fondation FORTĒ en 2021 pour formaliser son engagement dans ce domaine. Par son rayonnement et son action, cette structure d’utilité publique soutient et complète les avancées scientifiques des projets financés par des fonds institutionnels.
Le Centre ASSAL propose des programmes de formation spécialisés aux médecins en formation venus du monde entier.
« I have been fortunate to work as a fellow in foot and ankle surgery under the mentorship of Dr Mathieu Assal at Clinique La Colline, Geneva in 2014 and 2015. This fellowship provides great exposure to a large variety of foot and ankle cases and operative techniques, and gives an opportunity to write and publish papers as well.
